ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

      MCA @ SJCET is the second post graduate programme of the college, started in the year 2009 with a sanctioned strength of 60 students .Master of Computer Applications is a three year (6 semesters) programme, for the graduate students of any stream, is designed to promote high achievement in theoretical and practical problems within the field of Computer Science and to address the educational demands of the need for software graduates in the booming IT sector all over the world.

The curriculum is framed by the M.G University, which covers all the main areas of application of computers .The faculty members of the department are rich in qualification as well as experience. Department is giving importance to the academics as well as extra-curricular activities. An association (SMASH) has been formed as a platform to express the technical talents of the students. Believing in teamwork, keeping no limit to what can be achieved is our motivating factor. Faculty members are open minded and treat the students as respectable personnel and vice versa so that we can able to keep a good relationship among ourselves. The Department offers various additional advanced training programs in advanced platforms to keep them abreast with the current technology.
